UPDATE (January 15, 2020): Following a many months-long wait for Dior‘s collaboration with luxury luggage brand RIMOWA, the full range is officially available for purchase.
Originally unveiled at Paris Fashion Week Men’s back in June, the collection features signature RIMOWA models — including the Cabin, Trunk and Handcase — updated in sleek new colorways, as well as a blue ombré take on Dior’s monogram. Leather accents and Dior-branded wheels add finishing touches to each suitcase.
The Dior x RIMOWA suitcase collection ranges from $2,440 to $4,620 USD and is available now on Dior’s website.
ORIGINAL STORY (November 4, 2019): Shortly after unveiling a pre-release pop-up of its collaborative RIMOWA collection, Dior has announced that its full line of monogram suitcases will arrive ahead of Spring/Summer 2020 at the re-opening of Shibuya PARCO on November 22.
The collaboration originally debuted at Paris Men’s Fashion Week in June. The luxurious range of suitcases and handbags incorporates the Dior monogram, as well as designer Kim Jones’ streetwear-influenced aesthetic, into RIMOWA’s signature models. A matte aluminum Cabin, Trunk and Handcase styles are rendered in black, silver and blue ombré Dior monograms. A crossbody Personal Case will also be available in black, blue, silver and pink colorways.
The Dior x RIMOWA suitcase collection will release at Shibuya PARCO on November 22. For those outside of Japan, the collection will soon be available online for pre-order. The Cabin, Trunk Handcase and Personal Case will retail for approximately $3760, $4275, $3110 and $2465 USD respectively. Styles in the blue ombré colorway will see a slight premium in pricing.
