Another Major 'Lizzie McGuire' Character Returns in Upcoming Reboot
Hint: he plays Lizzie’s best friend.
After revealing that actors Hallie Todd, Robert Carradine and Jake Thomas will reprise their roles as Jo, Sam and Matt McGuire for Disney+’s Lizzie McGuire reboot, Hilary Duff has announced the return of a fourth major character: Adam Lamberg as Gordo, Lizzie’s beloved BFF. Disney took to Instagram with a video of Duff welcoming back her co-star, commenting “This is what dreams are made of!”
Disney+ officially launched its streaming service on November 12, welcoming 10 million subscribers on its first day (in fact, Disney’s servers crashed due to explosive traffic). The modern-day Lizzie McGuire is set to hit Disney+ sometime in 2020. Stay tuned for updates on the much-anticipated reboot as they emerge.
