Stella McCartney's New adidas Stan Smith Is a Vegan, Rainbow Treat
The new shoe releases imminently.
Stella McCartney is set to launch a second take on adidas‘ popular Stan Smith sneaker. Following the success of last year’s Stella McCartney x adidas collaboration, which saw the release of the first-ever vegan Stan Smith, the new iteration once again boasts cruelty-free construction.
Consistent with Stella McCartney’s sustainable practices, the classic sneaker is constructed of white vegan leather and features the Three Stripes pattern rendered in laser-cut stars. The design pays homage to both McCartney and legendary tennis player Stan Smith — portraits of them appear on the left and right tongue, respectively. Drawing on the bright palette of McCartney’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection, the sneaker also comes with two sets of interchangeable laces, one in rainbow and the other, in tonal white.
adidas’ Stella McCartney Stan Smith retails for approximately $304 USD and will be available starting December 2 at Stella McCartney stores, the brand’s website and select retailers worldwide.
