5 Things You Need to Know About the Dior Men's Pre-Fall 2020 Show in Miami

In collaboration with Shawn Stussy.

Served as an opening act for Art Basel Miami Beach, Dior Men‘s Pre-Fall 2020 show took place this week in collaboration with Stussy founder Shawn Stussy. The French luxury fashion house’s Artistic Director Kim Jones also unveiled one major collaboration on the runway that took over a year to complete – the Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG.

In celebration of the label’s heritage in America, the collection features a vibrant, artistic take on all your fall fashion staples. Located at one of the biggest private contemporary art spaces in Miami, a number of famous faces were spotted at the show’s front row, including Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Korean-American rapper Jay Park and football icon David Beckham.

Discover everything you need to know about the Dior Men’s Pre-Fall 2020 show down below.

Location

Situated at the Rubell Family Collection, Shawn Stussy helped curate this year’s runway set. The space was incorporated with a mix of yellow and blue colors along with a multitude of wave-like iterations of ‘Dior.’ In addition, a gleaming row of colorful vintage American cars were lined up along the street outside the venue across the new Rubell Museum.

Collection

The highly-anticipated Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1 was finally unveiled on the runway. Along with the collaborative sneaker, Dior’s Pre-Fall 2020 collection featured an array of colorful combinations and eccentric prints found on jackets, sweaters and pants.

Beauty

For an added touch of color, models appeared with neon green-yellow swatched across their eyes to complement the vibrancy of the range.

Accessories

The fashion house’s new Saddle bags arrived in a variety of colorways and textures featuring a unique design on each one. Flowers seemed to be an ongoing theme for this collection as well as tropical-themed accessories and bucket hats.

Attendance

Fashion Week front row regular Kim Kardashian attended the show along with sister Kourtney Kardashian. Familiar faces were also seen on the same row including Bella Hadid, Winnie Harlow, Travis Scott, Jay Park and David Beckham.
