Gelareh Mizrahi Launches a Vibrant Shoppable Bodega for Art Basel Miami
The SS20 collection includes micro mini bags, custom designs & more.
Over the weekend, art and fashion lovers alike descended upon Miami for the city’s annual Art Basel event. As a celebration of design and aesthetics, the city was filled with plenty of exhibitions, workshops, installations and more. Nestled in the heart of the Miami Design District, designer Gelareh Mizrahi also hosted the latest instalment of her Bodega Pop-Up. As a follow up to her Spring/Summer 2020 neon Mini Mart Pop-Up shown at New York Fashion Week this past September, the revamped bodega iteration is just as vibrant and colorful.
Within each color-coordinated display, the shelves have been meticulously merchandised to showcase Mizrahi’s latest collection in a seamlessly arranged showcase. From Cheetos and Tylenol, to roach killer and cat food, a wide array of banal items have been reimagined in a stunning color gradient. Integrated into the arrangement is, of course, a selection of micro mini bags as well as unique one-of-a-kind custom illustrated handbags.
