Take a Look Inside Gelareh Mizrahi's Neon Mini Mart Pop-Up

If case you haven’t been seeing Gelareh Mizrahi‘s Mini Mart pop-up all over Instagram throughout New York Fashion Week, we’re giving you an inside look at the store. Acting as the brand’s NYFW presentation for the Spring/Summer 2020 season, the pop-up took over Iconic Magazines’ Lafayette Street location and gave it a Gelareh Mizrahi makeover.
The bag label worked with Soft Systems‘ installation artists Gabriela Noelle and Liz Prohira to create an immersive, interactive New York City bodega-style space. The outside of the pop-up shop is decked out in a hard-to-miss green neon shade with a window display filled with the brand’s iconic holographic “Thank You” bags.
Featured alongside everyday products that can usually be found in corner stores, such as magazines, sponges, soaps, chips and candy, the designer bags are curated and color-coordinated along the shelves. Exclusive, limited edition bodega-themed T-shirts in neon green and tie-dye, as well as other merch, are also being sold at the pop-up location.
Gelareh Mizrahi’s Mini Mart Pop-Up is open for public in New York now. It was originally scheduled to run from September 6-11, but it was just announced that it will stay open another year until September 2020.
