Lanvin Unveils the Vintage-Inspired Bumper Sneaker for SS20
Reminiscent of Nike’s LDWaffle Daybreak silhouette.
French luxury fashion house Lanvin has dropped its first-ever unisex sneakers designed by the brand’s very own creative director, Bruno Sialelli. Dubbed the “Bumper,” the luxe silhouette slightly resembles Nike‘s LDWaffle Daybreak featuring a triple-thickness sole and a back wing at the heel.
Available in seven colorways, the ’70s-inspired vintage shoe is accentuated by a worn finish on the sole as well as the lacing system. Its retro-futuristic look features a contrast of modern materials along with a bright, vibrant color palette that complements the theme of Lanvin’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection. The label’s logo can be found on four different spots of the sneaker – embroidered on the tongue in gold thread, embossed on the heel pull, engraved on the “Spoiler” sole and the treaded sole. Take a detailed look at the pair in the gallery above.
Lanvin’s Bumper retails for $550 USD which you can now purchase at Lanvin’s website and at the brand’s boutiques. In related news, here’s a closer look at the sacai x Nike LDWaffle in “White.”
