Miu Miu Revisits Its Roots With a Vintage-Inspired Denim Selection
Taking us back to where it all began in the late ’90s.
Miu Miu is putting its own spin on one of fashion’s most timeless fabrics with a new denim selection rooted in the brand’s late-nineties, utility-inspired beginnings.
The collection places denim at the center of everyday dressing, exploring the material’s versatility across different styles, occasions and personal aesthetics. Available in four key silhouettes, the range includes oversized jeans with an elongated palazzo leg, relaxed boyfriend fits offered in both high and mid-rise options and classic straight-leg styles with a shorter, slimmer profile.
Each pair is treated with vintage-inspired washes, spanning deep indigo hues to faded blues, with carefully crafted shading, whiskering and lived-in finishes that give the denim a worn-in feel from the first wear. An embroidered Miu Miu logo adds a signature touch, appearing either on the front or back of the designs.
Celebrating denim’s ability to transcend trends, genders and generations, the collection is designed around individuality. Whether styled with sneakers, loafers, tailored fits, masculine shirting or the brand’s signature grey sweaters, Miu Miu’s denim is intended to be worn in endlessly personal ways.
A fabric originally named after the French city “de Nîmes,” denim continues to evolve, and Miu Miu’s latest offering highlights its enduring place in contemporary wardrobes.
