Virgil Abloh's First Louis Vuitton Collaboration Will Be With BAPE Founder NIGO

The capsule is set to include clothing, accessories and shoes.

Virgil Abloh has tapped BAPE founder and all-around streetwear legend, NIGO, to design a capsule collection for Louis Vuitton. The upcoming collaboration, entitled “Louis Vuitton LV²,” will be his first at the brand since being appointed Men’s Artistic Director in 2018.

“Me being at Louis Vuitton is directly attributable to work NIGO’s done in the past…He inspired me to do what I do,” Abloh told VogueThough no images are available yet, the collection will include ready-to-wear clothing, shoes, accessories and of course Vuitton’s signature leather goods updated with NIGO’s interpretation of house logos.

Virgil Abloh and NIGO’s ”Louis Vuitton LV²” collection will drop in-store September 2020. Stay tuned.
