BAPE‘s New York City store officially turns 15 this year and in celebration, the Japanese clothing brand founded by NIGO has released a special collaborative MTA MetroCard. BAPE took to Instagram Stories this week to announce the surprise drop and fans have been spreading the news across their social accounts like wildfire.
The limited-edition MetroCards’ design features the label’s signature camo print arriving in a grey and purple colorway. Twitter account @NYCTSubway shared the news via the social platform and unveiled which MetroCard Vending Machines (MVMs) and station booths will be selling the subway cards for the next three weeks. The locations are: Broadway-Lafayette Street (B,D,F,M), Bleeker Street (6), Spring Street (6), Prince Street (R,W), Spring Street (C,E) and Canal Street (A,C,E).
