AMBUSH x Gentle Monster Will Re-Release Their Famous Zip-Tie Sunglasses

In three different colorways: clear, orange and blue.

Having just launched its highly anticipated RIMOWA collaboration on Friday, AMBUSH now returns with news of yet another collaborative release. This time around, the forthcoming drop will actually be a re-issue of a popular design. The Yoon Ahn-led label originally introduced its unique zip-tie sunglasses back in 2016, which was highly sought-after because of its quirky touch. Now, the brand will be retailing the frames once again come late Spring 2019.

You can take a closer look at the sunglasses, which were teased by Yoon on her Instagram page. The frames also appear to have been featured in the brand’s sci-fi-inspired Fall/Winter 2019 lookbook – the images showcase the sunglasses in three different colorways: clear, light blue and bright orange.
