Cruelty-Free Outerwear Brand Biannual Debuts Its FW19 Collection
Inspired by Nashville.
Biannual officially debuts its Fall/Winter 2019 outerwear collection. Titled “Shifting Perspectives,” the range is inspired by cities and places like Nashville with unapologetic aesthetics. The Tennessee city was handpicked due to its musical background and the vibrant energy it evokes.
The FW19 lookbook features a 21-piece oversized outerwear collection. This includes: a faux fur vest with a nylon silhouette, a nylon mid length oversized jacket and a recycled cashmere and nylon lined hooded puffer. Additionally, the brand rounds out the range with a short sleeve multi-pocket vegan down vest jacket. The color palette for the pieces includes different patterns and different primary colors like blue, red and green.
Biannual founder, Dani Roche shares her favorite coat from the collection below:
“[I] ended up withholding one of the oversized puffer coat samples from the look book shoot to brave the frigid Toronto cold. I love the exaggerated sleeves and the cozy hood. My priority every winter is to stay warm and toasty, and all of Biannual’s oversized styles allow me to layer however I choose.”
