A First Look at Virgil Abloh's New Off-White™ x Nike Sneakers
Teased at Coachella this weekend.
Long-time Nike collaborator Virgil Abloh has been dropping sneakers with the Swoosh for quite some time now, following the initial “The Ten” collaboration. We’ve seen a handful of classic silhouettes receive his signature Off-White™ makeover, and this weekend at Coachella, Abloh teased an upcoming shoe.
Initially shown as a prototype during Off-White™’s Spring/Summer 2019 runway show, the new sneakers seem to be a brand-new silhouette that we haven’t yet seen before. Sporting a tongue reminiscent of Nike’s Air Presto model, the shoe also features a black base, reflective Swooshes, branded lacing and is finished off with a green zip-tie. The pink rubber sole sports traction grips, perhaps influeced by the track-and-field-inspired looks from the designer’s SS19 range.
There’s yet no official information as to when to expect the sneaker to release, but make sure to get a first look at the new trainer below and stay tuned for all the latest updates.
