Maison Margiela Debuts Latest Deconstructed Fusion Low Sneaker
Say hello to “Bubblegum Mix.”
Maison Margiela officially unveils the latest variation of its Fusion Low sneakers in a vibrant colorway dubbed “Bubblegum Mix.” The deconstructed trainers are marked by a maximalist look on the outer-rims of the design in addition to mashup detailing seen throughout. Main specs include super glue which appears to be dripping down the shoe paired with duct tape accents.
Additionally, the sneakers feature a look that appears to be torn off and re-attached with cracked paint and scuffing. Significant coloring seen throughout the model includes pink, which is seen on the gum-like material on the midsole. Also arriving are carbon fiber panels that meet the lacing system, this portion overlays the white leather upper. Pink also makes another appearance on the outer cage, this section contains various deconstructed attachments as well. Lastly, the model comes with an asymmetrical lacing system that rests between the carbon fiber panels and leather eyelets.
