UPDATE: Louis Vuitton officially unveils the first jewelry campaign presented on behalf of the house’s Men’s Artistic Director, Virgil Abloh. According to an official press release, the jewelry collection “is a reinterpretation of classic menswear chains that debuted during the men’s Spring/Summer 2019 show across various accessories and leather goods.”

A newly designed Louis Vuitton chain directly inspired by Cuban links is introduced in the collection. This chain has been twisted into an eccentric design featuring contrasting materials and finishes. Additionally, the imagery includes a multi-hued rainbow chain further emphasizing the previously mention SS19 presentation’s theme of diversity. This piece is made with different colors including orange and blue. It is topped off with monogram detailing, brass with aged gold effect and crystal encrustations in differing hues.

Lastly, all necklaces and bracelets in the range come with an innovative closure detail, a cylindrical slide designed to ensure security. The clasp is embellished with Louis Vuitton branding and an “R” engraving.

After unveiling an all-orange capsule collection, Virgil Abloh returns to debut a newly designed Spring/Summer 2019 range of bracelets and necklaces for Louis Vuitton. Each piece features a reimagined design of the fashion house’s beloved monogram pattern.

Both the Monogram Colors Chain Bracelet and Necklace are created with oversized square links including a mixture of black, gold and iridescent metal. Detailing is comprised of the angular pattern of the chain which creates a bold look accentuated by engraved monogram faces. Additionally, a lobster clasp adds an edgy touch.

Up next is the Patches Chain Link Bracelet, this accessory features a mashup of silver, brass and enamel. Specs are made of embedded Swarovski crystals alongside engraved monogram patterns on the sides of thick chain links. Rounding out this piece is an LV signature branded clasp.

The Virgil Abloh-designed Louis Vuitton SS19 Monogram Bracelets and Necklaces are available now at louisvuitton.com. Pricing starts at €395 GBP (approximately $444 USD).
