A new week has arrived with a number of splurge-worthy new releases, as our BAE Bulletin is populated with equally exciting sneaker and streetwear drops. In addition to launching a new silhouette, the Air Max 270 React, Nike is dominating our wish list this week with two other releases, including its highly anticipated collaboration with Stranger Things.
Also hitting shelves this week are Converse‘s new line of Renew Chuck Taylors. With uppers sustainably made from plastic bottles, these shoes are not only stylish, everyday wardrobe staples, but they’re also eco-friendly.

Nike has reimagined its classic Air Force 1 silhouette with a stylish new look. Dubbed the AF1 “Vandalized,” the low-top white sneaker is designed with asymmetrical elements which come in the form of flipped tongue labels, off-balanced swooshes and mismatched heel tabs.

A new sneaker model from Nike is launching this week — meet the Air Max 270 React. As suggested by its name, the runner combines the Air Max 270 with the brand’s smoothest foam from the Nike React. Pictured above is the “Bauhaus” colorway, which is constructed with a statement-making upper designed with vibrant-colored accents.

Coinciding with the release of Stranger Things Season 3, Nike is launching another collaborative sneaker with the cult-favorite Netflix series. As part of the “OG Pack,” the Air Tailwind 79 features an Independence Day-inspired makeup, with the colors red, white and blue covering the uppers. The year that the show is set in, 1985, can be seen printed on the heel tab of the shoes.

Created with sustainability in mind, Converse’s new Chuck Taylor All Star and Chuck 70 feature uppers made with 100-percent recycled polyester that come from used plastic bottles and recycled polyester laces. As part of the brand’s “Renew Initiative,” the shoes are constructed with newly developed PET yarn that resembles the original cotton canvas Converse is known for. Anti Social Social Club has returned to launch its Fall/Winter 2019 collection. Titled “Still Stressed,” the upcoming range is filled with cozy gear including an array of T-shirts and hoodies emblazoned with ASSC branding. In addition to the streetwear drop, the brand will also be releasing a collaboration with Korean rice cooker purveyor, Cuckoo.
