UPDATE: Beyoncé Releases an Extended Video for "Spirit" and "Bigger"

UPDATE (July 19, 2019): Shortly after the release of Beyoncé‘s 14-track The Lion King: The Gift album, the artist has now revealed an extended video for “Spirit” and “Bigger.” The video cuts back and forth between visuals of Queen Bey singing and dancing against African desert and jungle backdrops and clips of Disney’s The Lion King live-action remake. Blue Ivy Carter makes an appearance in the music video as well. Watch the video above to see for yourself.
Following up on the surprise drop of the visual for her latest single “Spirit,” Beyoncé releases the full The Lion King: The Gift Album. The compilation produced and composed by the global singer provides a glimpse into the vocals that will appear throughout the film, officially hitting theaters today.
The album features an assortment of stars who made a name for themselves in the American music industry including Jay-Z, Childish Gambino, Pharrell Williams, Tierra Whack and more. Blue Ivy also makes a surprise appearance on the song “BROWN SKIN GIRL;” she is noted as a songwriter in the credits.
What’s special about the tracks is the appearance of a slew of global stars such as Burnaboy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage and Tekno to name a few. Interludes throughout the project are voiced by stars of the film Mufasa (James Earl Jones), Nala (Beyoncé), Simba (Donald Glover), Scar (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Timon (Billy Eichner) and Pumbaa (Seth Rogen).
