Watch Beyoncé's Stunning "Spirit" Music Video from Disney's 'The Lion King'
Including Blue Ivy and snippets from the upcoming film.
In celebration of The Lion King‘s premiere this Friday, Beyoncé dropped the official video of her latest single “Spirit” from the upcoming album The Lion King: The Gift. The four and a half minute clip is set in the middle of the African tropical grasslands featuring the singer in a variety of vibrant gowns and talented dancers.
Snippets of the upcoming remake are seen briefly in between transitions complementing the artist’s colorful dance numbers. Blue Ivy also makes an appearance sporting red hair and a beautiful lilac dress to match with her mother. “It was important that the music was not only performed by the most interesting and talented artists but also produced by the best African producers,” Beyoncé said in a statement. “Authenticity and heart were important to me.”
