Chanel Takes Its First Steps Toward Inclusion by Hiring New Head of Diversity
A new role for the luxury house.
After undergoing major recent changes such as the passing of designer Karl Lagerfeld earlier this year, Chanel is now taking its first steps to become a more diverse company by recently hiring a Head of Diversity & Inclusion. This position is a new role for the house, which was previously handled by the People & Organization department. According to Business of Fashion, Fiona Pargeter, who was Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Swiss Bank UBS in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, will be taking on the new job.
