Louis Vuitton Revamps the Iconic Tambour Watch for Its New Wave Collection
A customizable timepiece.
To add to its popular New Wave collection, Louis Vuitton has revamped its iconic Tambour watch. The fresh design, which takes inspiration from the house’s latest leather goods collection, arrives with unique elements.
Placed inside stainless steel case, the watch face sports a white quilted pattern in the signature “V” shape, reimagining the softness of leather on the flat surface. Atop the face are golden hour markers with the luxury house’s monogram flower emblem sitting at the 6 o’clock mark. What makes this timepiece special is that it is customizable – customers can choose from around one hundred different straps including the “Rainbow” version pictured in the gallery above. The quartz model is available in three different diameters – 28, 34 and 39.5 mm – with the latter arriving with an added chronograph function and date display.
