Beauty Brand Monastery Is Relaunching With a New Line of Organic Skincare Products
Known for its high quality essential oils with non-irritating properties.
Initially founded in 2011 in a small San Francisco studio by esthetician Athena Hewett, beauty brand Monastery focuses on natural skincare. Having studied and practiced esthetics for a decade, Hewett was inspired by her Greek grandmother to develop a label known for its high quality essential oils with non-irritating properties. This coming fall, Monastery will be relaunching to introduce a new range of skincare products.
With an experience of almost 20 years in the industry, the brand’s founder continues to give facials with her team of estheticians to treat and learn more about our skin. During her experience, she grew to believe in using oils to heal the skin, and began creating products with the initial purpose to treat her clients only – clients were asking to take bottles of the products home, which was how Monastery was born into a beauty brand.
Arriving in the coming months, the new collection has been edited to include the most essential products in their purest form. The lineup includes the revamped Attar Floral Repair Concentrate, Gold Botanical Oil Serum and Rose Cleansing Oil along with a new gel moisturizer. Additional details on the relaunch haven’t been revealed yet so stay tuned as more information surfaces.
