The Nike Shox TL Is Giving Us Major 'Matrix' Vibes
Cybergoth gets an athletic revamp.
Nike’s Shox TL is re-releasing again in four different colorways for men and women. The technical sneaker originally debuted in 2003 and was a true market darling.
The entire shoe itself features a semi-matte and high-gloss overlapping detail. Cutout overlays on the sides show the signature Swoosh placed on top of shiny stripes. Underneath that, we see a matte fabric base. The sole itself is also semi-hollow with multiple performance-enhancing pumps. From head-on, the shoe almost looks like a cage or skeleton design, adding to a street goth aesthetic.
The four colorways include black, white, silver/gray and white mixed with orange. While the color differences certainly add a different vibe to each design, the matte-high gloss look is evident in all four. You can really dress up or go neutral based on your mood.
Considering that this collection is a relaunch, we aren’t sure how long it will stay. But if you’re a fan of the design, we suggest stockpiling your favorites.
