The North Face's "Heritage" Collection Is Full of Campus Essentials
Windproof apparel and accessories for back-to-school season.
With back-to-school season just around the corner, The North Face has released a new “Heritage” series featuring products made for adventures in and out of the city. Arriving in easy-to-wear colorways, the campus-ready collection comprises of retro-inspired jackets, tees, pants, backpacks and shoes that are perfect for fall weather.
The collection centers on the Wind Jacket which derives from The North Face’s classic mountain jacket. Made with the brand’s signature WindWall technology, the jacket is resistant to chilling winds but is still breathable. Added pieces of corduroy give the piece a vintage feel. Another key item is the cozy women’s-exclusive crop crewneck sweater made with drop shoulder sleeves and a kangaroo pocket. Other apparel in the series include relax-fit T-shirts and wide-leg pants that are both durable and stylish.
While most people wouldn’t consider hiking shoes as everyday wear, The North Face has created the Trail Escape Crest for daily situations and all terrains. Sporty yet simple, the shoes have a mesh upper that offers breathability for warmer weather, a flexible midsole for action-packed activities and an outsole that is water-resistant. There are two backpack releases in this collection – the Ruthsac and Totepack. Both are ideal for everything from mountain climbing to daily subway commuting, boasting laptop compartments, padded ergonomic back panels and shoulder straps, spacious storage and invisible zip outer pockets to fend off pickpockets. Additional accessories in the collection are two black and white caps.
The North Face’s “Heritage” collection is available now in select retail shops. For more from the brand, take a look at its Lunar Voyage collection here.
