KITH x ASICS' Gel-Kayano 5 Is a Summer Take on the Dad Shoe

The new pictures give us a closer look at the summery details of the sneaker, including a color-blocked sole. Fresh off a “Summer Sport” capsule collection release with Myra Swim, KITH is back with another collab. Ronnie Fieg revisits his longstanding partnership with ASICS by putting his own spin on the Gel-Kayano 5 OG.
The KITH x ASICS Gel-Kayano 5 comes in an all-new “Oasis” colorway. Built on a primarily white mesh base, the sneaker features leather overlays and yellow, orange and turquoise Tiger stripes, embroidery and outsoles. The sneaker is also covered in reflective, silver detailing to complete the dad shoe look. Finally, the collars are stamped with ASICS and FIEG co-branding.
An apparel and accessories collection will launch alongside the sneaker. The KITH Oasis capsule will include two T-shirt styles, a convertible swim short and a bucket hat in three different colorways. Both the clothing range and sneaker will release on Friday, July 19.
