Saucony Dropped the Next Chapter of Its Collab With Westside Gunn

Unveiling the Grid Jazz 9 “Awesome God.”

For all the sneakerheads, get ready because Griselda Records founder and Grammy-nominated artist Westside Gunn is linking up with Saucony for the next chapter of their collaboration, dropping the Grid Jazz 9 “Awesome God.”

Inspired by the final chapter of his Flygod Is An Awesome God album trilogy (which was partly recorded right inside Saucony’s Boston Innovation Hub), this drop effortlessly fuses art, street culture and high-end luxury.

The silhouette is a feast for the eyes, featuring a multi-tone faux fur upper paired with iridescent leather, meaning no two pairs are exactly the same. You’ll also find butter-soft leather lining, custom laces and Gunn’s signature scorpion motif embroidered right into the heel window.

Mark your calendars for the drop on August 28, which is also officially “Westside Gunn Day” in his hometown of Buffalo, New York. The “Awesome God” sneaker will be available via the Saucony website.

In other news, these are the music festivals to hit this summer.
