'Game of Thrones' Star Kit Harington Joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Making his debut in ‘The Eternals.’
Known for playing the famed character of Jon Snow in HBO‘s Game of Thrones, Marvel has confirmed that Kit Harington will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Announced during the D23 Expo last weekend, Harington will play the role of Dane Whitman, a.k.a. the Black Knight in Marvel’s The Eternals.
Last month, part of The Eternals cast was announced during Comic Con that included big names like Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek and Kumail Nanjiani. Harington will reunite with his on-screen GoT brother Richard Madden who will play Ikaris in the upcoming film. This now marks the third Stark family member to join the MCU, along with Sophie Turner, who plays Jean Grey in X-Men.
The Eternals will hit theaters on November 6, 2020. While we patiently wait for the film to premiere, find out the release date of Black Panther 2.
