The Toronto Raptors Release a Nike Pro Hijab

Here’s a first look.

Nike dropped two sleek iterations of its Pro Hijab in floral patterns earlier this summer. Now, the sportswear giant is teaming up with Toronto‘s basketball team, the Raptors, on a Pro Hijab of its own.

Featuring a Raptors claw on one side and a Nike Swoosh on the other, the co-branded Raptors Nike Pro Hijab releases alongside a video featuring a group of Muslim women playing basketball. In the campaign, one athlete says, “It goes back to my experience as an athlete. Growing up, I didn’t have so many role models that looked like me.”

The video continues, adding, “It’s about Muslim females not having to give up their identity or feeling like they have to sacrifice some portion of their identity, but also still play whatever sport they want.” Watch the video for yourself below to get a first look at the product.

Shoppers can find the Raptors Nike Pro Hijab now in-store at Toronto’s RealSports retail location. Stay tuned to see if the performance wear garment will be available elsewhere.
