COMME des GARÇONS' Newest Nike Collaboration Is a Raw-Edge Air Max 95
In three different colorways.
Adding to the label’s series of covetable collaborations with Nike, COMME des GARÇONS is set to release its own version of the Air Max 95. Originally introduced at Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2020, the shoe arrives in three colorways: all-white, all-black and ombré grey-black.
Similar to its take on the Nike Shox TL, CDG’s Air Max 95 features raw-edge detailing, replacing the model’s traditional layered paneling with what appears to be frayed denim. Air Unit bubbles are kept in the same midsole location at the heel and toe. The all-black and all-white colorways keep it sleek with tonal stitching and detailing, while paneling on the grey-black version creates a gradient-like effect.
The COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Max 95 rings up at $350 USD and will release on January 18.
