Take a Closer Look at the COMME des GARÇONS x Stussy 40th Anniversary Varsity Jacket
Dropping sooner than you think.
Earlier this week, Stussy announced a partnership with COMME des GARÇONS in celebration of the American label’s 40th anniversary. In anticipation of the upcoming collaboration, we take a closer look at the black varsity jacket equipped with large chenille patches on the sleeves and an XL patch of a CDG Surf Guy at the back.
The black wool statement garment features satin lining along with varsity hallmarks, including an oversized fit and elasticized cuffs. Tonal “CDG” embroidery can be found on the left side of the jacket as well as COMME des GARÇONS and Stussy co-branding in white. Rounding out the design are the years “1980 – 2020” on the right chest in between a list of Stussy’s original store locations – New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, London and Paris. The COMME des GARÇONS x Stussy 40th anniversary varsity jacket will be available at both brand’s stores, all of Dover Street Market‘s stores, CDG’s website and Stussy’s website on January 15 at 10 a.m. PST.
