Kaia Gerber and Jimmy Choo Reimagine '90s Minimalism With New Shoe Collection
A portion of proceeds will benefit Gerber’s charity of choice, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Jimmy Choo and Kaia Gerber, the brand’s campaign face for three seasons, have teamed up on a capsule collection of shoes reimagining ’90s minimalism. Co-designed by Gerber and Jimmy Choo Creative Director Sandra Choi, the four-style range includes two boots and two sandals.
“I wanted an effortless on/off duty wardrobe that could work with any look in a color palette that talked to my Cali roots while adapting to any city, at any time,” Gerber said of her latest endeavor. The K-Cruz is a versatile, grunge-inspired combat boot rendered in snakeskin printed oxblood leather, while the K-Jesse is a rugged cowboy-like boot that incorporates fashion’s recent penchant for Western-inspired style. Both the snake-print K-Slingback and the black K-Slide mule feature sleek, walkable heels.
The “Jimmy Choo AND KAIA” collection will be available online and in-store starting on February 2. 15 percent of all sales will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
