OAMC Team up With adidas Originals for SS20 on a Five-Shoe Capsule

New additions to adidas’ Type O-1 and Type O-2 lines.

For SS20, adidas Originals and OAMC have joined forces once more to push a selection of new colorways in the relatively new Type O-1 and Type O-2 silhouettes. Both models in the capsule are evocative of the modern-court-style adidas Supercourt RX, the Type O-1 coming in three new colorways and the Type O-2 in two new looks.

With both the Type O-1 and Type O-2 previously released by the duo back in 2019, this second collaborative effort between Luke Meier‘s expressive menswear label OAMC and iconic sportswear brand adidas sees the two models reinvented and painted in a selection of muted hues to create a new collection. The Type O-1 will be dropping in “Mid Grey”, “Natural White” and an OAMC exclusive “Camel” color, while the Type O-2 will release in “Mid Grey” and “Natural White”. Both models give off a street-but-neat look, the new colorways adding a hint of luxury and minimalism to the already clean kicks.

Type O-1 features a leather upper paired with rubber overlays, compression mesh, zig-zag stitching, a mountaineering-inspired lacing system and a mid-foot strap for support. Type O-2 merges the leather Stan Smith upper with Supercourt RX tooling to create a unique silhouette that teeters between heritage and modern design aesthetics. Both are a strong extension of the line produced in tandem by the two brands; the colorways make any of these five iterations the perfect addition to your winter wardrobe this season.

All five colorways will launch via adidas and OAMC webstores on January 23, with the Type O-1 coming in at $280 USD and the Type O-2 arriving at $250 USD.
