Off-White™'s "LUNAR NEW YEAR" Collection Features Cherry Blossoms and Cartoon Rats
Wishing us “GOOD LUCK” for 2020.
Virgil Abloh and Off-White™ are set to celebrate the Year of the Rat with an upcoming collection of clothing and accessories, aptly titled “LUNAR NEW YEAR.” The range features cultural emblems including the cherry blossoms and Chinese zodiac rat, as well as the color red symbolizing prosperity.
T-shirts, crewnecks and hoodies arrive in black, with a cartoon rat face and “GOOD LUCK” printed over Off-White™’s signature arrow logo. Luggage tag detailing hangs from the hem of all three styles. A red cardholder, scarf and pair of jeans also tout “GOOD LUCK,” while a white bucket hat features the brand’s recently updated logo and a 3-D cherry blossom. The tote, crossbody bag and zippered pouch are crafted of red leather printed with a photorealistic rendering of cherry blossoms.
Off-White™’s “LUNAR NEW YEAR” collection will be available on January 8 at Farfetch, the Off-White™ website and in-store at the brand’s Shanghai Reel and Beijing Sanlitun locations.
