Martine Rose Delves Deeper Into Experimentalism at London Fashion Week: Men's

Peep the full runway here.

Following the holiday season, the fashion world is back on track with London Fashion Week: Men’s kicking off this past weekend and boundary-pushing designer Martine Rose taking the Fall 2020 runway to showcase her creations. Continuing on a similar theme from last season, an exploration of club culture in the ’80s, the creative invited guests to Torriano Primary School in London.

With frizzy hair swooped to one side dominating the show, the lineup kicked off with wardrobe staples like a black high-collared shirt accentuated with holographic prints as well as a checkered coat contrasted with sky blue hues. More check patterns are found throughout the collection in different shades of grey and green, while models sport dad-friendly styles complete with baggy windbreakers, extra-wide pants and suits with tonal text laid throughout.

Key statement pieces including thigh-high cowboy boots, pinstripe coats and pants, leather robes and denim pieces are accompanied by items like vests and blazers, as well as pins and brooches. Making its debut on the Martine Rose runway is also British menswear label FARAH for a range of collaborative sweaters emblazoned with both brands’ logos, followed by jumpers and clean shirt jackets with contrast over-stitching taking the spotlight.
