A Complete Look at the Futuristic Raf Simons (RUNNER) FW20 Collection

Eight new styles in a medley of colorways.

First being introduced at the Raf Simons Fall/Winter 2020 presentation on January 15, we now have an official complete look of the upcoming Raf Simons (RUNNER) range, set to hit select retailers come June 2020.

The range consists of eight new styles, many of which will be dropping in a selection of bold colorways. The comprehensive offering from the menswear designer has been largely inspired by sportswear and its distinct elements. The range attempts to challenge and reimagine the sneaker silhouettes that we’ve come to know too well, now gracing each and every catwalk, high-street look, magazine cover and Instagram feed post.

Styles like the SOLARIS, ANTEI, CYLON, ORION and 2001 sit at the forefront of this reimagining process, exploring the possibilities of shape through the experimentation of form and function. Both the models and their respective names hark towards optimistic futurism, looking into what can be done within the realm of footwear design in the near future. In terms of materials, quirky constructions of leather and suede once more limelights the progressiveness of the collection, toying with the strong base color pairings and technical innovations found within the silhouettes’ structural forms.

Preview the Raf Simons (RUNNER) FW20 range in the gallery above and expect select styles to begin hitting the retail market from June 2020 onwards.
