Dion Lee’s FW20 Collection Is All About Statement Jewelry
See the minimal, photo-ready pieces.
Just before the pandemic broke out, Dion Lee showcased his Fall/Winter 2020 collection at New York Fashion Week. Now, we’re taking a closer look at some of the statement looks spotted on the runway.
“The collection started with this idea of incorporating jewelry elements into the clothes,” the creative shared in an interview. Taking inspiration from golden chains, the collection sees minimal, all-black garments arrive with bold design cues. A long-sleeved dress is accentuated with a large cut-out window and layered necklaces hanging down the back. For a more androgynous feel, the collection also features a jacket and trouser set, which is highlighted with fishnet panels at the waist. Adding a touch of color, the lineup also incorporates a dusty khaki shade onto a ribbed top with hand-tied detailing running down the front.
