Lorde, Ariana Grande Will Release New Music — But Only if You Vote
Lorde broke her 3-year social media hiatus to make the announcement.
Lorde and Ariana Grande took to social media to tease new music, which they’ve promised to release as long as their fans register to vote.
Lorde, who broke her three-year-long social media hiatus to announce the possibility of a new album, posted a series of photos on Instagram Stories urging fans to vote in New Zealand’s upcoming election. “Do it for our beautiful country…And next year I’ll give you something in return,” the singer wrote in a caption concluding the chain of posts.
Similarly, Ariana Grande hit Twitter with a selfie captioned, “turning in these mixes and reminding u again to register to vote if u haven’t already / to vote early.” Last month, Tayla Parx confirmed that the pop star is working on her next album. Grande herself teased a snippet of vocals, likely from the project, just weeks ago on Instagram.
