adidas Is Dropping a Baby Yoda Sneaker Collection
Paying tribute to ‘The Mandalorian.’
Building excitement for Disney+’s second season of The Mandalorian, adidas Originals has announced a collection of sneakers paying homage to Baby Yoda and The Force. Comprised of nine silhouettes including the Superstar, NMD and Gazelle, the collaboration features graphics and design elements inspired by the live action Star Wars franchise.
The Superstar is rendered in the same mint green shade as Baby Yoda himself, and boasts an illustration of the adorable character at the lateral heel. A similar low-top style, the Gazelle, is constructed of a black suede upper accented with adidas’ Three Stripes in silver lightening bolt print. The Top Ten Hi, a basketball-inspired sneaker, boasts another Baby Yoda rendering while the ZK 2K Boost features glow-in-the-dark laces and a graphic of the Mudhorn at the tongue.
The Mandalorian x adidas Originals collection ranges from $70 to $150 USD and releases on November 4 at the adidas website.
