Nike Unveils New Iteration of Air Jordan 1 CO.JP "Midnight Navy"
Originally limited to 3,000 pairs back in 2001.
Following the release of the Air Jordan 1 CO.JP “Metallic Silver,” Nike is set to drop another rework of the classic silhouette in a “Midnight Navy” colorway. The upcoming sneaker was originally limited to only 3,000 pairs back in 2001, which was a part of its “Japan Addition” capsule.
The AJ1 includes some of its original elements but also boasts new details throughout. The leather upper features hits of white on the toeboxes, quarters, throats and collars, while the mudguards, eyestays, heels and collar flaps come in a navy blue hue. For an added touch of shine, the Swoosh and ball-and-wings badge sport a metallic silver shade. Unlike the first pair that featured a Jumpman graphic, the tongue now arrives with an embroidered Nike Air logo. Rounding out the design is Jordan Brand’s iconic Jumpman and “CO.JP” found on the insoles.
Priced at $170 USD, the Air Jordan 1 CO.JP “Midnight Navy” will be available to cop via Nike SNKRS on November 14. In the meantime, peep the AJ1 High in “Lucky Green.”
