Lancôme Introduces New Lash Idôle Mascara With Zendaya
Arriving with a brush applicator designed to reach every single lash.
Expanding its “Idôle” collection of beauty goods, Lancôme is now making a further foray into makeup with a new mascara modeled by none other than Zendaya. Dubbed Lash Idôle, the new release follows up on the makeup giant’s latest fragrance, Idôle Eau de Parfum.
Packaged in a pink and black container, which features Lancôme’s iconic flower motif embossed on the lid, the formula and applicator are designed to reach every single strand of eyelash. The brush comes in a curved shape with 360 micro bristles in various sizes to generously coat the lashes, while the lightweight product adds a lifting effect. Lasting for up to 24 hours, the gel emulsion can be easily removed and avoids flakiness and smudging.
“I’m obsessed with this mascara. It’s so flattering on the eyes as each lash is beautifully defined, fanned out and lengthened,” the brand’s makeup creative director Lisa Eldridge shares in a press release. “The different bristle lengths of the brush enables each lash to be volumized and lifted right at the roots. And, most importantly for me as a makeup artist, it doesn’t smudge off, flake or smudge under the eyes.”
