Naomi Osaka Unveils New Logo in Upcoming Collaboration With Nike
A collection celebrating the athlete’s multicultural background.
Following an official look at her collaborative Blazer Mids with COMME des GARÇONS, Naomi Osaka has now unveiled her upcoming apparel partnership with Nike. The lineup celebrates the tennis player’s multicultural background spanning Japan, Haiti and USA.
Comprised of casual items, the garments see Osaka’s new minimalistic logo. A bright orange beanie and white hoodie feature white branding that resemble the athlete’s initials “NO” influenced by the Japanese flag. Highlighting the range is a camo print top, which arrives with the national flags of Japan, Haiti and USA on the sleeves. The orange and khaki color palette is inspired by the coordinates of each country, with the pattern derived from digits fed through a digital algorithm. Rounding off the collaboration is a bold graphic depicting a cat holding a Nike-branded tennis racket.
Take a sneak peek above. The Naomi Osaka x Nike apparel collection is slated to arrive on November 16 throughout Japan and the Americas, and in early December in EMEA regions.
