Pornhub Launches Its First-Ever Sex Education Series
Featuring 11 episodes about healthy masturbation habits, the proper way to use a condom and more.
In an effort to bridge the gap between watching porn and better educating viewers about sex, Pornhub has launched its first-ever sex education series on its website. According to Dazed, the platform has released 11 episodes narrated by certified sex therapists who share their scientific advice on an array of topics including “healthy masturbation habits, the proper way to use a condom, female anatomy” and more.
“Everyone deserves to have their boundaries respected,” sex therapist and host Dr. Cat Meyers says in the first episode titled “Communication.” “Being pressured into doing sexual things doesn’t feel good. If you’re going to have sex, you should know how to communicate about sex.” One video is dedicated to explaining how to have safe sex amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. “A recent study has found that COVID-19 has been found in semen,” certified sex therapist Jessicia Ross claims. However, doctors have not confirmed whether or not the virus can be transmitted through sex.
