Pharrell Williams and NIGO Celebrate 16 Years of Friendship With New adidas Pack
Featuring the PW BOOST Slide and Tokio Solar Hu silhouette.
Pharrell Williams and NIGO have come together once again to work on a collaborative collection with adidas Originals. In honor of their 16-year-long bond, the designers have dubbed their four-piece footwear collection the “Friendship” pack.
The Japan-exclusive PW BOOST Slide arrives in a mint green iteration and a clay brown colorway with a bold orange upper. The styles come with an adjustable padded strap and BOOST midsole, which are complemented by a debossed graphic sock liner and Hu logos. As an ode to NIGO’s national heritage, the slides boast Japanese embroidery, which translates to “you” on the left and “me” on the right.
As for the Tokio Solar Hu, the sneaker‘s Primeknit upper sports a suede toe box and mudguard, smooth leather eyestays, Three Stripes detailing and a criss-cross motif at the heel. Rounding out the design are the branded sock liners and heel tabs, as well as the floral hang-tag.
Pharrell Williams x NIGO x adidas Originals’ “Friendship” pack ranges from $100 to $180 USD. The collection will release via adidas’ website, in-stores and at select retailers on December 18.
