Sheila Bridges x Union LA x Sonos Unveil Limited-Edition One SL Speaker
Featuring the designer’s signature Harlem Toile print.
Sonos is set to release its collaborative One SL speaker with Union LA, designer Sheila Bridges and Color of Change. As part of the nonprofit civil rights advocacy organization’s #TellBlackStories initiative, the limited-edition product celebrates the voice of Bridges and her involvement in strengthening the representation of Black people.
“I pick and choose these passion projects — things that I think are interesting or exciting to bring into the marketplace,” Bridges shared in a press release. “Because Sonos was a brand that I was really familiar with and something that I live within my own home, I thought okay, this makes sense. Plus, music is a huge part of my life. I’m a closeted DJ.”
The speaker features Bridges’ signature Harlem print, which boasts a mix of traditional French pastoral themes and African American culture. Additionally, the creative’s design is inspired by her personal experiences living in Harlem. Take a closer look at the piece in the gallery above.
Sheila Bridges x Union LA x Sonos’ speaker will be available to purchase via Bridges’ and Union LA’s websites on December 8 at 2 p.m. EST.
