Vans Reworks the Era, Old Skool and Sk8-Hi for the Year of the Ox
In collaboration with Chinese designer Suwukou.
Earlier this month, Vans dropped its “Lux Color Block” pack. Now, the label has unveiled new iterations of its classic silhouettes and apparel pieces to celebrate the Year of the Ox.
In collaboration with Chinese designer Suwukou, the duo tapped local creatives from the skateboarding, art, music and street culture scenes to reimagine the footwear brand’s iconic sneakers. The Era‘s upper is constructed out of premium suede material, which is available in two colorways: white and baby blue. As for the Old Skool and Sk8-Hi, the shoe styles have been updated in monochromatic green and pink iterations.
Elsewhere, the sweaters and jacket boast one-of-a-kind graphics illustrated by Chinese artist Gaga (Peng Lei), Chen Tian Zhuo, C2H4 Founder Chen Yi Xi and Vans China skate team rider Xiang Xiao Jun. Take a closer look at the offerings above.
The Vans x THEY ARE Year of the Ox collection will be available in Asia on January 1, 2021 at Vans’ stores and online.
