UPDATE: An Official Look at the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Waffle Racer 2

Catch all the details here.

UPDATE (February 27, 2020): COMME des GARÇONS and Nike have finally released official images of the upcoming Waffle Racer 2, which was previously revealed last month. The collaborative silhouette has been decked out in an all-black color palette, featuring a large distressed, denim Swoosh. Constructed from suede, the upper also sports a leather heel tab and nylon tongue, while white CDG branding on the heel and insole completes its sleek look.

The COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Waffle Racer 2 will be available for purchase at Dover Street Market London on February 27.

Elsewhere in footwear, don’t forget to check out the upcoming Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Low.

ORIGINAL STORY (January 29, 2020): Upon revealing a range of collaborative pearl necklaces with Mikimoto, COMME des GARÇONS has now unveiled that its coveted Nike Waffle Racer will be making a comeback soon. Originally making their debut back in 2017, the shoes return with rough edges for a simple, unfinished look.

Arriving in all black, the sneakers sport suede all over, unlike the previous iteration which features a textile upper. Along with the Waffle Racer’s signature pattern on the outsole, the shoe is accentuated with a tonal black Swoosh with frayed raw edges. Finishing off the design are Nike’s logo placed on the tongue tag and bold, white CDG branding at the rear, which can also be found on the insoles.

Scroll through the gallery above for a detailed look at the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Waffle Racer 2, slated to drop soon at select retailers at the price of ¥25,000 JPY (approximately $229 USD).
