Feng Chen Wang Unveils 2-In-1 Converse Pro Leather Sneaker
Celebrating the Creative All Star Series in London with workshops, conversations and more.
Ahead of London Fashion Week, Converse has taken over the Hoxton Docks space for an exclusive All Star Series event, bringing together a collective of creatives across fields like fashion, sport, music and art. Set out to encourage the next generation of crators to embrace their individuality and strengthen their talents, Converse provides a handful of different experiences ranging from hands-on workshops to panel talks with industry leaders.
Long-time collaborator Feng Chen Wang also debuted her unique take on the classic Converse Pro Leather sneaker, taking two shoes and combinig them into one. Dubbed the 2-in-1 Pro Leather, the sneaker boasts deconstructed elements as well as layered panels, taking inspiration from her previous take on the classic Chuck 70s silhouette. Consumers also have the chance to craft their own take on the sneaker with help from the designer herself, as well as a handful of other DIY opportunities including screen printing and tie-dying.
In addition to the workshops, conversations with talent like Stéphane Ashpool, founder of Pigalle, as well as performances by Octavian and Lava La Rue Will be taking place throughout the weekend. Visitors are also able to shop the latest Pro Leather and Chuck 70 collections, as well as re-releases of popular collaborations.
