Gucci Brings Back the Iconic Jackie Bag for FW20
Debuted at the label’s show at Milan Fashion Week.
Gucci just showcased its Fall/Winter 2020 collection at Milan Fashion Week, taking the audience through the full show experience starting by entering backstage and watching each model get dressed before taking their spot on a rotating stage. The imagination of Alessandro Michele always surprises and innovates, and for this season’s collection, the designer went back into the Gucci archives to bring back its iconic Jackie bag.
Previously debuted in the Fall/Winter 2020 menswear collection in January, the Jackie bag is now being brought back as a part of the womenswear range as well. Arriving in a handful of spring-ready colors including blue and pink, the accessory sports a gold metal hardware clasp at front, as well as a retro-inspired top carry handle. The bag will release in two sizes, both a smaller iteration as well as a slightly larger piece, and will be available for purchase starting in June 2020.
