No Sesso Returns to LA and Delivers an Artistic FW20 Homecoming Runway Show

Pierre Davis and Arin Hayes tap Autumn Randolph for this season’s collection.

Co-founders Pierre Davis and Arin Hayes have been making moves for the past two seasons at New York Fashion Week, showcasing a new perspective on garments made for all body types and identities. For Fall/Winter 2020, the designers brought their show back to their hometown of Los Angeles dubbed “A Vignette of the Renaissance on 24th Street.”

Located at WAREHOUSE at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, the presentation was open to the public and showcased a mixture of a runway show and a performance piece that explored the ideas of “home.” In collaboration with Autumn Randolph, Davis and Hayes’ FW20 collection featured garments that were upcycled from their personal fashion archives. Key pieces include the “exaggerated quilted” Nylon NS puffer coat, the asymmetrical peek-a-boo printed silk spaghetti strap dress, the patchwork knit and fur tunic dress with bold sleeves and the inky black fur corset with a matching silk skirt.

Take a look at the entire range in the gallery above and let us know what your favorite looks are in the comments. For more Fashion Week-related news, here are five things you need to know about Saint Laurent’s FW20 show in Paris.
