teamLab’s 'FUTURE WORLD' Exhibition in Singapore to Introduce Five New Artworks

Available for public viewing starting March 14.

teamLab has announced that it will be showcasing five new artworks starting next month at its permanent FUTURE WORLD exhibition in Singapore‘s ArtScience Museum. The Japanese digital art company’s goal for its latest installments is to take visitors on a journey to rediscover the immersive exhibition. Honor Harger, executive director of ArtScience Museum said in a press release:

“When ArtScience Museum conceived FUTURE WORLD with teamLab, we wanted to create a space that would change over time and reward repeat visitation. The exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to experience what it is like when art, science, culture and technology come together. FUTURE WORLD has been a success since its launch in 2016, and we are delighted to welcome our two millionth visitor last year. The exhibition has formed part of our character and identity in Singapore.”

The new works include interactive digital installations Proliferating Immense Life – A Whole Year per Year and The Way of Birds, as well as digital works 100 Years Sea [running time: 100 years], Impermanent Life, at the Confluence of Spacetime New Space and Time is Born and Enso – Cold Light. Take a look at what to expect in the gallery above and let us know which one you’re looking forward to in the comments.

All five pieces will be available for viewing on March 14. To book your tickets in advance, head on over to Marina Bay Sands’ website.
