A First Look at Kanye West's Chicago-Exclusive YZY QNTM Quantum
The rapper took to the streets in trucks for a giveaway of the sneaker.
Kanye West and adidas Originals‘ YZY QNTM Quantum has been given an official release date following the rapper’s Chicago giveaway of the sneaker. Videos posted across social revealed a series of black four-wheeler trucks parked in locations across West’s hometown that distributed the new shoe to scores of fans.
The YZY QNTM Quantum is constructed of a Primeknit upper caged in an opaque white TPU shell. A leather overlay at the toe adds texture, and a padded ankle collar provides support. An all-black tongue matches tonal rope laces while a sleek white midsole finishes off the shoe.
The YZY QNTM Quantum will be available at select retailers exclusively in Chicago starting February 16. Check out photos of the shoe above, and more on West’s giveaway below.
